Being impartial, and being perceived to be impartial, is necessary for B&R Certification LLC to deliver certification that provides confidence. It is important that all internal and external personnel are aware of the need for impartiality.

It is recognized that the source of revenue for B&R Certification LLC is its client paying for certification, and that this is a potential threat to impartiality.

To obtain and maintain confidence, it is essential that B&R Certification LLC’s decisions be based on objective evidence of conformity (or nonconformity) obtained by B&R Certification LLC, and that its decisions are not influenced by other interests or by other parties.

Conformity assessment activities will be undertaken impartially. B&R Certification LLC will be responsible for the impartiality of its conformity assessment activities and will not allow commercial, financial or other pressures to compromise impartiality.
